Restaurant owners often do not care about quality of the ingredients. Matsu Sushi restaurant meets all the requirements. Best value sushi in Hamilton-Burlington area! There isn't anything close in this price range. Highly recommended. I was amazed by the authenticity and freshness of the food.

I had been looking for good quality Sushi outside of Toronto since I moved to Hamilton 12 years ago. After finding Matsu my long search was over. This is easily the highest best quality sushi I have eaten in years. Simon, the owner has been very accomodating to any special requests, and has always made my dining experience pleasant and something I look forward to all day. I really think if you live in Hamilton/Burlington and you enjoy Sushi, MATSU is by far the best choice

Have been addicted to sushi 30 years plus...best ever including toronto, san fransisco, new york,small but quaint... ..food outstanding and simon's chef talents are a marvel to watch!!!

The sashimi was awesome! Very fresh. Service was fast and courteous.
